Art Book and Tamerlane Waller

My Steampunk Anthology story is about a detective by day and a crimefighter by night. His name is Tamerlane Waller, and he is a hamster.

His archnemesis is an owl.  I'm currently working on the pages now and I will post some updates throughout the week!

Here's some of my initial sketches:

Also, my artbook is now available for 99 cents on the illustrated section.

There's 37 pages of selected illustrations, concepts, and comic artwork, from a variety of projects I've been involved in. There's also a few personal pieces as well.  I chose not to muddle it up with explanations or other text, so it's really just full page artwork through and through.

Please check it out!

Alright, I will be back soon with some pages to show from Tamerlane Waller.  Keep adventuring!

if you need me, I'll be browsing in The Illustrated Section...

Hello again!

Did you have a smashing weekend?

I've been working on the second issue of "Where the Rainbow Ends" and my 8 page story for "The Steampunk Anthology" and doing some house stuff over the weekend.  I can't wait to share some of what I've been working on with all of you!!

Today however, I'm posting to let you know about a new website that an artist friend of mine, Dani Jones, is launching today.
I am absolutely ecstatic about it...

Here's a quote from her regarding creating the site, from her blog:

I thought, “Wouldn’t it be cool if there was a central store where all these cool artists could post their books so buyers could easily browse through them and people like me could fill their iPads with awesome stuff?”

And then my next thought was, “Hey, I can build that.”

The Illustrated Section is your home for digital comics, picture books, sketchbooks, and art instruction books made by independent creators. Everything here is available for instant download in the widely universal and diverse PDF format.

For a limited time, in celebration of the site launch, I am offering the PDF of the first issue of "Where the Rainbow Ends" for .99!

Usually I price a single issue PDF at a reasonable 1.99, but I wholeheartedly support what Dani is doing with the Illustrated Section.
She saw a need in the marketplace and she is doing something to meet that need. Her entrepreneurial spirit cannot be contained!!
I just had to be a part of it!

You can also find hundreds of other amazing comics and teaching resources there as well, including free PDF previews of upcoming or currently available books, from many super talented independent illustrators and sequential artists.

Moving forward, you will be able to find the majority of what I release at The Illustrated Section.  I will still sell PDF books here at my site, but day and date my stuff will be found there too.

What are you waiting for? Check out some awesome books by some amazingly talented artists at The Illustrated Section!
